Here it is: the video of me singing from my school’s Black History Month program.
Mr. Hawke wasn’t too hip on my putting myself on the Internet in video, but I convinced him that I’m way too small in it for any verifiable visual identification. :/ The beginning’s clipped off a bit, and the camera stopped before the song, but I don’t think it sounds too bad considering he used the digital camera (my very awesome Canon A570IS!!) to take it.
Of course, as I said in the initial post, it wasn’t exactly my shining vocal moment. But you can hear students saying things like, “Sing it, Mrs. Hawke.” That’s not a bad sign, I don’t think. :/
